In my opinion, our Obbligato Music teacher is the perfect balance as a piano teacher. She encourages my daughter to practice and learn piano, while keeping the lessons fun and light. She rewards her students with kind words and small prizes such as silly bands (which is a thrill for my daughter) and the occasional piece of candy.  Our teacher is kind, thoughtful, enthusiastic and dedicated to teaching children music and, most of all, teaching a love and appreciation for music.

Our teacher also encourages all her students to participate in a recital if they so wish. She is supportive and makes sure that every child and family has a positive experience at the recital.  We have been thrilled with her talent, both as a musician and as a teacher.  I periodically ask my daughter if she still wants to keep doing piano and she always mentions her love for her teacher and the answer is always a “YES!!”.
